The three-year project ‘People without a residence permit in the Netherlands’ (2015 – 2017) focused on safeguarding the fundamental rights of irregular migrants in the Netherlands, with three focal points: 1. Detention of foreigners; 2. Forced deportation and 3. Research into basic reception facilities for foreigners without papers (‘Bed Bad Brood’). As an external evaluator, I analyzed the results achieved and provided advice.
